Andy Lazris, MD, CWSP, CMD
Dr. Andy Lazris is a physician Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He has practiced both primary care Internal Medicine and Geriatrics for the past 30 years. In addition to Internal Medicine board certification, he has a Certified Medical Director (CMD) degree and is the director of several long term care facilities in Howard County and beyond. He also is a certified wound specialist physician with a CWSP degree.

Dr. Lazris is a Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Brown University. He received a full merit scholarship to Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and completed his Internal Medicine training at University of Virginia Hospital.

In 2021 and 2022 Dr. Lazris received the prestigious Top-Doc recognition in Geriatrics for the Baltimore region. In 2022 he was named one of America’s most honored doctors. He has received numerous accolades and awards for his practice of medicine, his writing, and his work to reform health care.

Dr. Lazris is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is certified as a nutrition educator through Precision Nutrition and the Plant Fed Gut and will be coordinating nutrition programs at PPC. He is also a member of American Medical Directors Association and a certified medical director (CMD) and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and has expertise in medical directorship, long-term care, geriatric care, palliative care, and wellness. He is a certified wound care specialist with a CWSP degree from the American Board of Wound Management.
